Shared service configuration and protocol settings, independent of generated implementations.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

service_config: ServiceConfig

Typed service-wide configuration shared by every protocol.

protocol_settings: HashMap<ShapeId<'static>, Document>

Per-protocol settings, keyed by protocol shape ID such as smithy.protocols#rpcv2Cbor. Each protocol parses its own section when constructing itself or its router, rejecting invalid values with RouterBuildError::Configuration.
