EventStreamTimeoutConfig

Struct EventStreamTimeoutConfig

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct EventStreamTimeoutConfig { pub initial_message: Option<Duration>, pub message_completion: Option<Duration>, pub idle: Option<Duration>, }
Expand description

Independent event-stream read deadlines. None disables a deadline.

The first RPC frame is read before invoking the handler, including when it is an ordinary event from a stream-only input. Only initial_message bounds this read. If it is disabled, neither message_completion nor idle provides a fallback, so the first RPC frame has no event-stream read deadline.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§initial_message: Option<Duration>

Bounds the entire first RPC frame, including waiting for its first bytes. Does not apply to REST streams.

§message_completion: Option<Duration>

Bounds reading a frame from its first bytes until completion. Applies to every REST frame and to RPC frames after the first.

§idle: Option<Duration>

Bounds waiting for a frame’s first bytes. Applies before the first REST frame and between frames, after the first RPC frame completes.
